Corey is a passionate community builder, fundraiser, and dedicated charitable sector leader who believes that philanthropy is not about giving, it’s more about making a difference.
With more than 20 years of fundraising and sponsorship leadership experience, Corey is extremely passionate about building relationships, solving problems, and making change. His diverse career experiences range from health, humanitarian, social, youth, cultural, arts, and education. He is a committed professional who is forever inspired by the people who work to advance philanthropy. He continues to seek out new ways to engage communities to support the work of the charitable sector.
Before joining ViTreo Group, Corey served as a Senior Development Officer at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), Bow Valley College (BVC), and many other leadership roles within small not-for-profit organizations. Further to his experience in post-secondary, Corey had a successful career in event management where he worked on, and created high-level events for government, entertainment, and culture.
Corey is a true family man and takes every opportunity to check out a mountain or a lake with his wife and kids to create those special moments.
