Corporate partnerships manager

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Patricia Guenther-Smith has always been driven by a passion for art and creativity – especially music. From learning to play the piano, to singing on stage, Patricia’s love and talent for music continued to grow over the years and eventually lead to finding a home at Capilano College in Vancouver where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Music Therapy.

Following University, Patricia established her own Music Therapy business, practicing for ten years until following a second calling to explore her love of helping others in the capacity of a non-profit resource centre, The Harvest Project; reaching out with counselling, grocery and clothing support to individuals and families challenged by family break-down, illness, job loss and poverty.

Two kids and a family later, Patricia found her way back to Winnipeg.

In 2015 Patricia returned to her creative gifts and began working in Sponsorship at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Sponsorship is all about relationships and creativity and with Patricia’s skill sets and experience, fundraising came as a natural fit for her. Promoted to Corporate Partnerships Manager in 2016, Patricia has measurably grown the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s Sponsorship program, managing an annual portfolio of half a million dollars.

Patricia specializes in building the RWB’s support circle within the corporate community in Winnipeg, across Canada, and abroad.
