Norman Leach is a leader in the field of Sport & Event Marketing and Management. He is also a Subject Matter Expert, Bestselling Author, award-winning instructor and Writer, and Keynote Speaker.

Norman led the 88th Grey Cup (Calgary, 2000), a game that concluded as one of the most successful ever.

The Grey Cup, Canada's most watched sporting event, is the championship for the Canadian Football League. 

The game saw over 44,000 fans come to the game and generated over $40 million worth of economic activity and a profit of $2.1 million. Norman was responsible for 30 events over six days, drawing over 100,000 visitors.

He became the founding Chair for GlobalFest, an international fireworks festival celebrating the multicultural city of Calgary Ab. The weeklong festival was established to showcase the art of musical fireworks shows and hosts over 60,000 guests each year.

As the Executive Director of the World School Debating Championship WCDC) and the World University Debating Championships (WUDC), Norman successfully led both global competitions.

The USDC is held annually and involves more than 50 national teams. The World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC) is the world's largest debating tournament and one of the world's largest annual international student events.

Event locations included Calgary, Alberta; Vancouver, BC; and Seoul, South Korea; over 2500 students participated.

Today, Norman is the chair of the Ad Hoc Program Advisory Committee "Sports and Event Marketing and Management Program" at the Medicine Hat College School of Business, Alberta, Canada.

As a Subject Matter Expert Norman was on the college's team that launched the "Sports and Event Marketing and Management Program," a two-year program creating sports and event management graduates.

Norman also hosts "Hard to Beat," a biweekly video podcast covering the business of sport. Guests are anyone doing the backstage work of making a sports prodigy successful.

A bestselling author, Norman's latest book is "How to Make A Million in the Sports Business," published by Zsa Zsa Publishers in London.

Norman has been featured on many TV and radio programs, including CTV, Global News, CBC Radio, CTV, Alberta Prime Time, and many forms of print media.
