Michelle is a resident of Calgary and a born and raised Manitoban, where she was actively involved in competitive sports and coaching.
She managed to connect her love of sport to a successful career in advertising. As the Media Sales and Marketing Manager at CBC TV, Michelle worked with exciting TV properties such as the Olympics, Hockey Night in Canada, CFL, Amateur Sports, The National News and Dragon’s Den. She represented Calgary’s beloved professional sports teams’ the Calgary Flames, Stampeders, Roughnecks and Hitmen while working as the Director of Sponsorships at Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation.
Since February 2021, Michelle started as Sales & Marketing Manager for Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre. She’s able to apply her experience in driving revenue through sponsorships, marketing and increasing memberships for Cochrane’s large recreation centre. Best of all, she works in an environment that she’s passionate about, fostering community connections through fitness and PLAY for people of all ages and abilities.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys outdoor activities, watching hockey, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
