Kim Skildum-Reid is unquestionably one of our industry’s most influential thought leaders. Her inspired, yet practical, approach and refreshing, irreverent style have won her legions of fans for her books, industry-leading blog, white papers, and media contributions.

She has over 30 years’ experience in corporate sponsorship and is one of very few professionals credited with defining and setting the best practice benchmark for the sponsorship industry. She has a list of blue chip consulting and training clients spanning six continents.

Kim is co-author of #1 industry bestseller, The Sponsorship Seeker’s Toolkit and author of the #2 industry bestseller, and top seller for sponsors, The Corporate Sponsorship Toolkit. Her recently updated white paper, “Last Generation Sponsorship Redux” has been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times, and reprinted countless times industry publications. White paper, “Disruptive Sponsorship”, covers the cutting edge trends and technology that drive many of today’s investment decisions.

Kim is now based in Sydney, Australia, but grew up in Minnesota, on the North Shore of Lake Superior.

She is a retired first grade rugby player, rock climbs, and has been boxing for 15 years. She fronts a part-time rock band and is trying to learn guitar.
